2024-25 NFLPA Community MVP Form
Each week during the regular season, we recognize one active NFL player who has demonstrated a commitment to making a positive impact in his community. For being named Community MVP, the NFLPA will make a $10,000 donation to the player's foundation or charity of choice. The weekly Community MVP winners will also become eligible for the annual Alan Page Community Award, which is the highest honor that the NFLPA can bestow upon a player. *To be considered for a given week, the nomination must be submitted by Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. ET. *SELECTION Community MVPs will be selected by a committee of NFLPA staff and announced on Friday of each week in order to gain maximum promotional exposure. Each week’s runner-ups will be recognized by name with a photo and description of their charity work during the following week in a social media post (@nflpa). *CRITERIA Players must meet the following criteria to be considered for Community MVP: • Charitable initiative is organized and led by an individual player and/or his foundation (not an NFL team or sponsor-led initiative). • Player should have a foundation or be active with a specific cause. • Player should have participated in recent community work or held other recent events. • The community/charitable initiative should have taken place within the one-week period before (Wednesday of the preceding week to Tuesday of the current week) the Community MVP is announced. *IF SELECTED As Community MVP, player agrees to: • Provide a 1-2 sentence quote about being named that week's NFLPA Community MVP • Send 2-3 high-resolution photos with captions from the event • Share any high-resolution video from the community event • Create an original post or share the NFLPA's post about being named Community MVP on Twitter and/or Instagram • Create a short video congratulating the next week's Community MVP • Conduct an in-person or virtual visit to a school or children's hospital OR a similar community giveback event prior to the start of the next season. **This is required to receive your $10,000 donation.** If you have any additional questions, please contact Brandon Parker at brandon.parker@nflpa.com.
