AI FOR GOOD FELLOWS
The AI for Good Fellowship is a four-month program for mid-career AI engineers, data scientists, and social innovators dedicated to driving societal transformation. Fellows will design and develop ethical, scalable AI solutions to tackle Africa’s pressing challenges from climate change and health inequities to misinformation and social injustice. By working with NGOs, policymakers, and community stakeholders, participants will turn data insights into practical tools, such as NLP models for disinformation detection or predictive analytics for climate resilience. Supported by partners like Code for Africa, AfricTivistes, and the Kofi Annan Foundation and mentored by organisations like CFI (media integrity) and EPD (policy advocacy) this initiative bridges technical expertise with meaningful social impact. Ideal candidates are skilled in AI/ML frameworks (Python, TensorFlow), scalable cloud systems, and human-centered design, with bonus points for multilingual or open-source experience. Apply by 14 April 2025 to join this vibrant pan-African cohort.
