Trees for Our Heroes Lottery
***All registrations for this LOTTERY must be completed by 12pm (noon) October 31, 2024*** USO Mid-Atlantic is excited to offer a very special holiday event for ACITVE DUTY military families. Selected military will experience one of the timeless traditions of the holiday season at a local Christmas Tree Farm. In appreciation of our sponsors, families can spend the day selecting that perfect Christmas Tree for their home, creating season arts and crafts, pictures with Santa, and enjoying holiday fellowship. ***Trees cannot be delivered to your home; you must attend the event.*** Date: Saturday, December 7, 2024 Time: 10am-2pm; families will be assigned an arrival time. Location: The event will be held at a tree farm in Virginia. Located approximately one hour south of Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, and one and a half hours south of Fort Meade. Exact location will be given to those selected in the lottery. Winners will be selected by the first week of November. Winners will be notified by USOMidAtlanticELF@uso.org within the first week of November. If you are not a selected winner, you will automatically be put on the wait-list. Also DO NOT enter more than once, this WILL NOT help your chances in the lottery* If an emergency situation arises and you can no longer attend the event, you must EMAIL: USOMidAtlanticELF@uso.org a minimum of two hours before the event start time. ALL CANCELLATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY EMAIL TO USOMidAtlanticELF@uso.org. Email MUST include your first and last name, phone number, service branch, event location, and reason you are no longer able to attend. All other forms of cancellation will NOT be accepted. I.E. Phone call or voicemail, hand-written note, verbal communication with staff or volunteers, etc. If you do not email USOMidAtlanticELF@uso.org prior to the event start, you will be listed as a “No Show”.
