Scaling Altruism - Expression Of Interest

Scaling Altruism 2025 - Feedback on Plans & Expression of Interest We're planning to launch the project "Scaling Altruism" and want to shape it according to EA groups' and participants' needs. This is not a registration form - we're gathering feedback to optimize our approach. This form will take about 3 - 10 minutes to complete. Our Current Plan: - Timeline: February-April 2025 - Structure: 8 weeks course discussion groups - Format: Weekly discussion groups (5-10 people) - Curriculum: EA Handbook (https://forum.effectivealtruism.org/handbook) - Locations: Online groups and maybe in-person too (where possible) Key Features: - Peer facilitation model - Flexible implementation - Project-based learning - Community integration We welcome input from: - Potential local organizers - Future facilitators - Interested participants - Current EA community members Deadline: January 24, 2025

Helps us align with academic calendars. We are thinking about having potentially several starting times but we trying having one main one that works for most groups.
