Susa Ventures Location: San Francisco Company Overview: Founded in 2012, Susa is a venture capital firm that supports founders building category-defining companies in technology and manages over $1B in capital. We primarily invest in software and AI-enabled businesses across healthcare, fintech, supply chain, B2B SaaS, and infrastructure/developer tools. We are company builders and have supported companies like Robinhood, Flexport, Stord, Viz and Newfront. The Opportunity: Susa is seeking a Talent executive to support recruiting for the firm’s portfolio companies and to lead the development of the firm’s proprietary data platform to support talent sourcing and management. This is a unique opportunity for someone looking to combine experience in recruiting with entrepreneurial ambitions to not only build out traditional recruiting services for founders but also strategically develop Susa’s talent platform. Key Responsibilities: - Lead recruiting efforts for portfolio talent needs across key functions (e.g., GTM, engineering) - Cultivate and manage talent relationships and community; develop initiatives to support relationship building across portfolio and talent network - Product manage development of firm’s talent data platform Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will have a combination of talent and product/engineering experience, and track record of entrepreneurship. Key sets of experiences include: - 3-5+ years of experience in recruiting at a technology company; talent experience at a venture fund is a benefit - Experience in product and/or engineering roles ideal - Structured problem solver with experience building in low structure environments; track records of creating structured processes and executing across them - High initiative executor with the ability to work independently and drive towards outcomes - Entrepreneurial hustle and desire to build
