Introduction
1.0 - Introduction

Add a footnote to clarify/affirm that when we say "Partner Agency" or "Participating Agency" that is the same thing as when HUD uses "Covered Homeless Organization/CHO".

Data Quality
6.2 - Data Quality Plan

Add some additional language to clarify that HMIS participating agencies are expected to participate in data quality clean-up efforts outside of routine participation in QDQ (when prompted). And that the HMIS Lead is expected to ensure that data quality reports are available and functioning properly and will prompt partners to engage in DQ efforts in a timely and transparent way. This addition to the policies does not prompt any kind of change in our current practices - it is an affirmation of "what is" already. This addition is also towards supporting HUD's guidance that our policies should contain language about "Grant management requirements and process".

HMIS Technical Support
11.0 - HMIS Technical Support

Add new section called HMIS Technical Support. This new sections affirms that the HMIS Lead does indeed maintain a technical support process and that the details/expectations of that are negotiated via the MOU between lead/board/CoCs and will be available on our website. This also doesn't currently change anything about our existing practices.

  • Technically, this will also require updating the Section headers for the subsequent sections
