JELLO is an active community outreach organization that works with service groups in Hartford, including working with a food pantry every Wednesday and Thursday as well as regular Service Saturdays. We work with groups from the Wadsworth Atheneum to Habitat for Humanity and help with projects ranging from shoe drives to park cleanups. The Trinity Homelessness Project (THP) raises awareness of homelessness in Hartford and supports local organizations providing services to the homeless. THP works with Hands on Hartford, Journey Home, Footwear with Care, and the Hartford Police Department. We volunteer to serve breakfast at soup kitchens, recover food from Mather Dining Hall, move furniture into shelters, and hold food drives for donations.
